GLOBAL MARKETING MANAGER
Euronet Worldwide, Inc. The Company has been nationally ranked by both Fortune magazine and Forbes. Our Prepaid (epay) Segment provides electronic payment products and services.
We currently have an opening in Leawood, Kansas, in our epay Division, for a GLOBAL MARKETING MANAGER reporting to the VP, Product & Marketing. This is a full-time, permanent, on-site position. The position is responsible for providing a global marketing strategy within the division.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop a marketing plan for the epay Division to promote the global profile of the epay business, generate leads from potential clients and partners and market specific product lines within the epay product portfolio.
- Global owner of epay brand - ensuring correct use of the brand by each operating company. Maintain and communicate brand guidelines and act as a central resource providing guidance and support in use of the brand. Ensure all store branding deployed in each market meets brand guidelines. Share strategies and best practice for branding.
- Develop positioning and messaging for both the sales and business development channels for the epay global Division team and each operating company to produce relevant collateral and advertising templates. Produce fact sheets, PowerPoint presentations, demos and brochures to support individual products as well as the broader profile of the epay division and its respective operating companies. Strategic review of advertising placement, frequency and mediums across all divisions.
- Owner of the epayworldwide.com website including content management, links, hosting and availability. Develop consistency between epayworldwide.com website and local websites. Research current trends in website development, technology and search engine optimization. Ensure that epayworldwide.com is fully optimized for search engines. Ensure epay has a web presence through other web media such as Wikipedia and links from third party websites.
- Manage a PR calendar for the epay Division. Support each operating company in creating appropriate PR stories for publication. Ensure that epay benefits from maximum PR exposure across all relevant trade journals (digital and print). Maintain a database of trade journals, journalists, contact details and featured calendars. Network with journalists in key publications to ensure that epay benefits from opportunities to participate in editorials, interviews, subject matter articles, etc.
- Build and maintain a database of relevant industry awards. Ensure participation in awards - manage the process for submission of entries.
- Research trade show and conference events. Maintain a calendar and database of such events. Advise management of relevant events to attend and exhibit. Develop opportunities for speaking engagements at conferences.
- Create executions for targeted digital marketing campaigns including but not limited to text, email and business social networking sites such as Linked In, Facebook, Twitter and others using memberships within the special interest groups.
- Undertake regular communication with marketing teams in each operating company through regular meetings and conference calls to ensure all parties are aware of on-going Division marketing plans and activities. Use such meetings to share best practices, new initiatives in market and cross-fertilization of ideas. Maintain the Knowledge Bank with all appropriate marketing materials and supporting documentation to ensure that each operating company can access such materials. Maintain a library of images for use on epayworldwide.com website and each operating company website.
- Support product development in the launch activities and on-going marketing of specific products. Creation of marketing plan, naming and branding, website, collaterals, PR, communications, etc.
- Develop regular internal communications to educate personnel within epay Division and wider Euronet audience of new contracts, new products and initiatives. Develop an internal newsletter to use for sharing information from the epay Division.
- Provide research on business trends and competitor analysis.
- Deliver all marketing activity within agreed budgets.
REQUIRED AND DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Marketing or related field
- 5-7 years relevant marketing experience
- Outstanding influencing and negotiation skills

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Product Strategy - Strategic review of product proposals, formulation of product strategies and development of product road maps. Identify and understand emerging trends and opportunities in payments space to enhance current product portfolio and work with epay Business Development team to develop solutions.
- Product Management - Oversee all aspects of product including distribution, pricing and promotion. Conduct data analysis to maximize sales and margin performance of products in all sales channels. Product responsibilities may include but are not limited to prepaid long distance, mobile phone handsets and top-ups, debit and gift card products, bill pay, online entertainment, digital content and new product offerings.
- Product Design and Implementation - Responsible for designing and implementing new products, development of product marketing plans, delivering sales plans to Sales and Account Management teams.
- Vendor Management - Manage an array of product partners such as Mobile Operators, Prepaid LD providers, Prepaid Debit Card providers, Gift card partners, In-store display vendors, etc. Manage contract renewals, pricing negotiation, co-op funding & distribution and marketing coordination. Conduct quarterly business reviews to current sales performance and understand any changes in vendor’s product strategy.
- Product Marketing Strategy - Develop product specific advertising, messaging, sales support and in-store point of sale marketing programs; work with outside agencies, product vendors and internal resources. Understand and leverage vendor marketing initiatives to maximize sales performance in epay distribution channels. Incorporate trade marketing, exhibition strategies and online marketing into overall plan.
- Process Improvement - Reengineer existing product management processes to increase efficiency and overall product profitability, as well as improve customer experience.
REQUIREMENTS

BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER – FLEXEPAY (PDF version)

We currently have an opening in Leawood, KS, or Northern California, in our epay division for a Business Development Manager – Flexepay reporting to the Managing Director with an indirect report to the Senior Vice President of Business Development. This is a full-time position. The position will manage the strategic development and sales execution securing business with top e-commerce partners, alternative payments solutions and PSPs.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Execute sales strategy to develop new business relationships and build sale pipeline of top e-commerce partners, alternative payment solutions and PSPs.
- Contract with key international carriers, securing advantageous margins, securing beneficial marketing and promotion of flexepay brand, and gain beneficial legal and economic terms.
- Manage sales lifecycle with new e-commerce relationships, including negotiation, contracting and positively influencing the integration process to ensure rapid deployment of flexepay content on epay platform.
- Work with international epay country teams to ensure a global cash load network is established.
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 5 to 7 years relevant experience including proven track record of finding and closing large strategic deals (+10MM sales volume) with a focus on e-commerce. Prefer International e-commerce knowledge and relationships and Finance/treasury background with an understanding of multi-currency applications, money movement and settlement.
- Demonstrated strong communication skills including excellent verbal, written and inter-personal skills including the ability to communicate clearly and concisely with all levels of an organization as well as internal and external customers.
- Outstanding influencing and negotiation skills with proven customer relationship building skills.
