PaySpot is Number One in Prepaid Segment According to Brand Preference Study

LEAWOOD, Kansas – April 17, 2009 – PaySpot, Inc., a subsidiary of Euronet Worldwide, Inc. (Nasdaq: EEFT) and a leading prepaid and payments processor in the U.S., ranked first in all prepaid categories in the Hagen Brand Preference Research Study 2009. The study was designed and conducted by Hagen Marketing Research, Inc. at the request and with the cooperation of Convenience Store Decisions (CSD) magazine.

The survey polled key decision makers from convenience store chains across the U.S. to determine what the retailers think about the various manufacturers and distributors who call upon them. The results of 65 respondents ranked PaySpot as the top prepaid performer in all categories: Most Effective Sales Program, Best Product Quality, Best Supplier and Most Remembered Sales Presentation. Other prepaid suppliers listed by the respondents were AT&T, Coinstar, IDT, InComm, MCI and Verizon.

The information for the study was obtained via mail survey techniques and interviews at headquarters and regional offices of top convenience store chains (those operating at least 50 stores) and smaller chains (those operating between 10-49 stores).
